We at Spirit of Faith Christian Center (SOFCC) would like you to feel comfortable and confident about conducting online activities with us. As such, we have created this privacy statement, which governs our information handling practice and allows you to know what information we collect and how we use that information. What information is collected and How is it used?
When you visit our site, we may ask you to provide us with personal information such as your name, eMail address, and telephone number to fulfill the service you've requested. In addition, our web servers automatically collect your IP address, browser type, and the date when you accessed the domain. This information is used to allow us to perform web site administration and will never be attributed to your personal information without getting your permission. Also, we may collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:

For Prayer Request and Praise Reports - When you contact our pastoral staff for prayer requests or to tell us about your spiritual blessings, we may request:

     • Your contact information (i.e., name, eMail address, postal address, etc.)

We use your contact information to honor your request for prayer or to correspond with you regarding God's manifested word in your life. We will never use your information for any secondary purposes, without first obtaining your explicit permission.

Tithes & Offering - When you adhere to God's financial plan for your life by sowing into our Ministry at SOFCC, we may request:

     • Your contact information (i.e., name, eMail address, postal address)
     • Billing address (if different from your primary residence)
     • Credit card information (i.e., card number, expiration date and amounts)

As God has established a financial plan and responsibility through his written word, you have the opportunity to fulfill this biblical duty through sowing into our ministry. We will only use your information to fulfill your request.

Online Bookstore - When you contact the ministry online to obtain God's word for your personal book, audio, or video library, we may request:

     • Your contact information (i.e., name, eMail address, postal address)
     • Preferred Logon information (i.e. username and password)
     • Billing address (if different from your primary residence)
     • Shipping address (if different from your primary or billing address)
     • Credit card information (i.e., card number, expiration date and amounts)

We use this information to make your shopping experience easy and expedient, byallowing you to create a personal account. We will not use this information in any other way, than to fulfill your shopping request.

Site Feedback - To tell us about your online experience with us, we may request:

     • Your contact information (i.e., name and eMail address)

We use your information to address your questions and for web site administration, optimizing your user experience.

To become a SOFCC faith partner - We may request:

     • Your contact information (i.e., name, eMail address, and postal address)

If you elect to become a faith partner, we may from time to time contact you with information regarding the activities going on at Spirit of Faith. However, if you do not wish to receive such communications, contact us at privacy@sofcc.org and we will remove you from our mailing lists, promptly.
    

How is my information collected?
When you navigate to our website, our web servers will log the IP address (e.g., 10.10.10.2) of the computer that you are using to browse our website. An IP address is typically not considered personally identifiable information. However, with the advent of DSL, cable modems and other forms of static IP addresses, this issue may be attributable to an individual. Conversely, we only collect information that you expressly provide during your visit with us. Such information is collected to satisfy the services that you have requested (e.g., account registration, becoming a partner, or prayer requests).

Does this website use cookies?
First, a cookie is a small text file, which is stored on your computer's hard drive when you navigate to the shopping area on our website. We use this cookie to help us recognize you when you return to the shopping area, to make your shopping experience easier. Our cookie contains a unique identifier that is only recognizable to our systems and it does not contain any personally identifiable information.

What's my choice regarding the information collected?
We will only use your personally identifiable information to fulfill the services that you have requested. However, if a secondary use for your personal information arises, we will give you the chance to opt-out of such uses. Also, we limit our collection of personal information to the amount reasonably necessary to satisfy our mutual needs. Throughout our site however, several fields are required and others are optional. We will provide a consistent method such as bold print, to denote those fields which are required.

How can I change my account information?
When you provide us with your personal information during the online shopping account registration process, we will provide you with the ability to view, modify or delete your information. You can obtain access to your profile by providing your unique username and password on the account authentication page.

Is my information shared with third parties?
We may use certain third party business agents to help us provide you with an excellent experience when browsing with us online. When browsing our site, we may provide you with hyperlinks to external web sites that are not owned or operated by SOFCC such as, www.c-faith.org. In those cases, our privacy statement does not govern the information handling practices of those third party websites. We suggest that you read the privacy statements on those sites, prior to providing any personal information.

Is my information secure?
We strive to provide industry standard security mechanisms ensuring your information is safe with us. When we collect personal information from you, we utilize SSL (secure socket layer) encryption to protect your information when transmitted over the Internet. In addition, all of your personal information provided to us is stored on a secure server.

Do changes occur to this privacy policy?
If we materially change our information handling practices, as described in this statement, we will notify you by posting the changes on our website at least 30 days prior to their implementation.
